Visual Effects using After Effects

You will need to DOWNLOAD the relevant files for each clip to follow along.

  1. Follow tutorial and try it out, evidence your work as you go (Note: AfterEffects gets updated regularly and there are minor changes to where the tutorial directs you)

    For some tutorials (see below) you will need to then create your own footage and apply the visual effect to it
     

  2. Evidence all work on a new page of your main Wix site
     

  3. Your teacher will put you in groups for the practical part of the work. You will need to hand in each assignment on Teams

You need to try this one out with your own footage as well as follow the tutorial with existing footage

5 - Motion Tracking

You need to try this one out with your own footage as well as follow the tutorial with existing footage

8 - Titles (Part 1 & 2)

9 - Expressions

10 - Rendering

11 - Extension

The above tutorials are some that are a good starting point.

There are, literally, millions online, choose 3-5 that you think look good!

This will be excellent preparation for your music video next year.

12 - Knife Throw Task

You need to produce your own knife-throw task (or pencil/pen/scissors!)

Then add some BLOOD SPLATTERS and sound effects!
