Visual Effects using After Effects 

You will need to DOWNLOAD the relevant files for each clip to follow along.

  1. Follow tutorial and try it out, evidence your work as you go (Note: AfterEffects gets updated regularly and will be minor changes in menus and layouts compared with where the tutorials direct you). For some tutorials you will need to create your own footage and apply the visual effects to it.
     

  2. Evidence all work on a new page of your blog.
     

  3. Your teacher will put you in groups for the practical part of the work. You will need to hand in each assignment on Teams.

You need to try this one out with your own footage as well as follow the tutorial with existing footage

You need to try this one out with your own footage as well as follow the tutorial with existing footage

10 - Rendering

11 - Extension

The above tutorials are some that are a good starting point.

There are, literally, millions online, choose 3-5 that you think look good!

This will be excellent preparation for your music video next year.

12 - Knife Throw Task

You need to produce your own knife-throw task (or pencil/pen/scissors!)

Then add some BLOOD SPLATTERS and sound effects!
