Specialist Cameras
These cameras are considered specialist equipment and can only be used in specific circumstances.
If you wish to use one of these, you must discuss with your teacher first. The information below includes guide videos which we recommend watching before using the camera.
Canon EOS C100
The Canon EOS C100 (First Gen) is a video production camera with HD video recording, compact design, and versatility with multiple compatible lenses. While configured for single person use, this camera can also easy be rigged in a multi-person setup for a full production setting.
It's relatively light-weight (depending on the attached lens) and has multiple grips; this, combined with its universal tripod and mount compatibility, makes it an easy to handle camera for many types of project.
The 3.5 inch LCD screen can be flipped out and rotated 180°, allowing for shot monitoring from multiple angles (e.g. if your camera is set up for a low angle shot). The C100 is also compatible with our Canon lens kits.

Blackmagic Pocket 4K
Blackmagic Pocket 4K Cinema Camera is a compact digital motion video camera that can achieve cinematic quality on a small scale.
The Blackmagic RAW file format, when used correctly both in camera and in editing, can give accurate skin tones and dynamic colours.
Featuring a 5 inch LCD touchscreen for easy focus and shot set-up, SD card and external USB-C media disk recording, and compatibility with multiple different lenses. Ours currently has a 7Artisans 35mm f/1.4 Fuji FX Black lens, but is also compatible with our lens kits.
