Equipment Hatch
The Equipment Hatch is located in the middle of the Ground Floor G Block corridor. This is where you collect and return equipment and off-site permission forms
Please pay attention to the Terms and Conditions of bookings, which are listed at the very top of the booking form. You must tick a box to say you have read and agree to these conditions, which, if you do not follow, you may risk losing the priviledge of access to equipment.
Remember that this equipment is for everyone within Film & Media to use, to treat it with respect.

Equipment Guide - This interactive guide has information on all the equipment available to students. It also includes some Health & Safety information for larger and more technical pieces of equipment, so please read this at least once before making any equipment bookings.
Equipment Booking Form - This is the form (powered by Google) that allows you to make equipment bookings, for both on-site and off-site. If you show up to the Hatch to collect equipment without booking, you will be turned away. All bookings made here are sent to our Technicians, who will prepare the equipment for you to collect. Please make sure to read all the information at the top of the form before making a booking.
All equipment included in the Equipment Guide is available to book through this form (some with special conditions).
Off-Site Permission Form - This is a form that must be printed, signed by yourself and a parent/guardian at home, and returned directly to the Media Technicians at the Hatch before you're allowed to take equipment outside of college. Once this is returned, we keep it for the two years you'll be studying here and you will only ever never to fill it out a second time if we misplace your original one.
You can print a copy yourself, or you can collect a paper copy from the Hatch in the Ground Floor G Block corridor.
